A chance to take action on behalf of our children and the public's schools

The HELP committee voted to send Betsy DeVos's nomination to the full Senate. However, there is a silver lining.
The vote was close (only one vote apart), and two of the senators (Murkowski and Collins) who voted to send her name to the floor, made it clear that they may not ultimately vote for her confirmation. In other words,  there is still a good chance she will fail in the full Senate vote.
Over and over again during the hearing, senators remarked how they have been flooded with phone calls and emails against her nomination.
